COUREUR BRUSSELS
MAINTENANCE

How we work & why.

We'd like to express our expertise within the sports segment. We work on race bikes, gravel bikes and mountainbikes and we are constantly updating our knowledge within this segment. Next to some badass bike brands we also work on custom builds in our workshop. Measured by physio and bike fitter Felix and built by our mechanics Gehan and/or Xavier. Concerning 2024, we will approach our appointment system slightly different, aiming for a better workflow and shorter lead times. We only work on appointment no matter if the bike is bought in our shop or not, no matter if the issue is small or big. Therefor we kindly ask you to first contact us by phone or mail or to visit us in the shop (that is and always will remain our preference).
Did you bought your bike at our shop?

Then we will always try to help you as fast as possible. Just be aware that during high season, let's say april to september, there might be some waiting time.

You did not bought a bike at our shop?

No problem. Can happen. No hard feelings. We will judge available slots on regular base. This might lead to refusing your bike during high season if we look at the past three years. The status of current and following months will be stated below.

November : Fully Booked, last minute availability will be communicated.
December : Availability will be communicated during the last week of November.

Other general rules and info

-
We do not work on electric bikes.
-
Brand specific parts will be surcharged or asked to deal with through a certified dealer of that brand.
-
We will be strict on accepting dirty bikes for maintenance. Clean bike. Happy mechanic. Happy bike.
-
We aim to get your bike ready within 48h if no additional orders or parts are necessary.
-
If parts need to be ordered we won't make a call on lead times. This can change from a couple of days to a couple of weeks.
-
We only work with components and parts bought at our shop.

A complete check of your bike. We recommend this package every 6,000 to 8,000 kilometres, depending on the conditions in which your bike has been used and the type of bike. We will perform a complete internal and external cable swap and/or bleed compared to the ready-to-run condition. This results in smooth and precise shifting and braking. That new bike day feeling.
